Few film romances have touched audiences as much as that of Rose and Jack, the couple who failed to live out their love after the ship they were on sank. This year, 25 years after their first "contact" with the public, they are returning to the cinema.
James Cameron's award-winning Titanic, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, returns to cinemas in 3D. Starring Academy Award® winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, the epic, action-packed romance follows the tragic maiden voyage of the "unbreakable" cruise ship Titanic and the lives of its passengers, who perish within hours. On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the remastered version of James Cameron's award-winning film "Titanic" will be released in cinemas from February 9 only in 3D by Feelgood. The 3 hour and 11 minute film won 11 Oscars©, including Best Picture, Best Director, Music and Special Effects. Upon its release in 1997, the film became #1 on the worldwide charts and is the third highest grossing film worldwide. The 68-year-old director recently said in an interview with Deadline that he couldn't imagine this particular film with other leads, though he did reveal that Leonardo DiCaprio was not among his first choices.
